Experience Through Their Eyes

My friend brought me here during my visit to Clinton,TN. What I loved about this restaurant that every dish was made with love and downright home cooking. He brought me here 3 times during my stay here. The first time I tried the chicken fried steak served with a cup of white beans and Mashed Potatoes and gravy covering the whole plate. The chicken fried steak was not only fried perfectly, it was delicious every single bite that I did not want it to end. The second time we came back I had the hamburger steak, corn, and coleslaw. The coleslaw was made fresh and tasted sweet..just how I look it. The third time we came back I ordered fried catfish hush puppies and 2 servings of coleslaw. The catfish was tasty and fried to perfection. I really enjoyed this restaurant and recommend you stop by and support this local restaurant! Plus they make their own desserts! Don't forget to say hi to Helen!

Forget the fast food breakfast. These folks got the best "cathead" biscuits around. Their gravy is scratch made. Good grief, this place is awesome. They are at the corner of Sinking Springs and Brushy Valley.

My mom took me here when I was visiting from Johnson City. To say that it's a hidden gem is an understatement. The ladies there were so sweet and welcoming, the food is delicious. The bacon is perfectly cooked, biscuits and gravy were amazing.. pretty much everything we tried was 5 stars. And if you like fried bologna, this is your place! Will definitely be back!

Stopped in today for breakfast. I felt welcome as soon as I walked through the door. Their menu is posted on the wall, and you order at the counter and then sit to wait for your food. I had biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. The biscuits are HUGE and wonderful. The gravy is also SO GOOD. The bacon is served crispy-just how I like it. If you like true country cooking served in a simple, welcoming environment, then give this place a try. They do accept cards and cash.

Awesome little diner. I was able to enjoy my biscuits and gravy while listening to the room. The kitchen ladies just cutting it up, the two old men sipping coffee just talking about everything, and one half of the orders being called in. The biscuits are the size of my hand. Coming here made my day special.
